Matt and Felicia met in a campus ministry at the University of Georgia. Matt was (and is!) a UGA alum, and Felicia had moved to Athens to take a job after graduating from Emory University.
Matt and Felicia were married August 13, 1994, and have three amazing and delightful children: Asher (12/26/96), Noah (2/23/99), and Naomi (4/27/01).
Matt has earned the degrees Bachelor of Music (UGA, ’89) and Master of Divinity (Harding University Graduate School of Religion, ’98). Matt served as campus minister at Kansas State University for the Manhattan Church of Christ from June, 1998 – June, 2007.
The Carter’s have home schooled their children since Asher began kindergarten. Naomi is into dance, and the boys are into sports and Taekwondo.
